EKS InTec develops advanced automation solutions for the global automotive and manufacturing industries, a company shaping the future of virtual commissioning and digital twin technology. Their internal Licence Tracker managed software licences, customers, and billing for clients across the global automotive industry. It worked, but it was manual, confusing to navigate, and holding the team back from moving at the speed the business demanded.
Bild dug into the core of the system, understood how it actually worked, and rebuilt it into a modern, user-friendly platform: cleaner architecture, new technologies, smarter processes, and zero data loss.
EKS InTec's Licence Tracker was the backbone of their customer, software, and licence operations. The problem wasn't that it didn't work, it was that it demanded too much from the people using it.
The UX was rigid and confusing. Business processes like pricing, discounts, maintenance tracking, and billing required significant manual effort. For a company managing licence relationships with some of the world's most demanding automotive manufacturers, every hour lost to manual workarounds was an hour not spent on the work that actually mattered.

Customer & software database. A structured, navigable database linking customers, products, and licences. Registering new customers, managing products, and tracking relationships, all in one place, without the friction of the legacy system.
Billing & business logic. Invoice generation, delivery notes, flexible pricing rules, discount logic, and customer-specific maintenance tracking, the business processes that the old system couldn't support, now built properly from the ground up.
Automated exports. Full database exports to Sheets for analytics and reporting, replacing manual processes with automated, reliable outputs.
UX/UI redesign & legacy refactoring. A previously complicated interface simplified. Legacy code cleaned and modernised. And a complete data migration, all historical data moved into the new structure, validity preserved, nothing lost.
