Founding ICT Cortex – A Milestone for the Country’s Digital Growth
Our company, as one of the co-founders of ICT Cortex, proudly supported the signing of a historic agreement between the Ministry of Economic Development (MER) and the ICT Cortex cluster, securing over one million euros for the development of Montenegro’s IT industry and innovation ecosystem.
The contract was signed by Minister Jakov Milatović and Tarik Zaimović, one of the owners of Bild Studio, representing ICT Cortex. This partnership marked a major step toward strengthening the foundations of Montenegro’s digital transformation.
A Shared Vision for Innovation
The program, worth more than one million euros, will be jointly financed by the Ministry and member companies of the cluster — each contributing around 500,000 €. Its mission: to boost innovation, develop digital skills, and connect the private and public sectors through long-term collaboration.
Minister Milatović emphasized that this agreement is part of a broader effort to build a strong innovation ecosystem:
“Innovation infrastructures play a special role in this process — and clusters like ICT Cortex are among the most important drivers of growth and knowledge transfer.”
Investing in Knowledge and People
Speaking on behalf of the founders, Tarik Zaimović highlighted the importance of investing in talent and collaboration:
“The innovation community should be the main engine of our economy. Every euro invested in knowledge, technology, and young capable people returns many times over.”
The cluster’s focus extends beyond technology — it embraces education, digitalization of society, internationalization, and philanthropy, through initiatives such as the Cortex Foundation and Cortex Academy.
A New Chapter for Montenegro’s IT Industry
ICT Cortex was founded in March 2021 by Montenegro’s most innovative IT companies — including Bild Studio — with the goal of leading the country’s digital transformation and making IT one of its strongest export sectors.
This partnership with the state not only brings financial support but also recognition of the private sector’s role in shaping a smarter, more connected Montenegro.
