Cortex Village – A Vision for Smarter, Healthier Living

Bild Studio’s next step in building Montenegro’s innovation ecosystem

After co-founding ICT Cortex and supporting the creation of Cortex Academy, our company has taken another bold step in strengthening Montenegro’s IT community — by launching the idea for Cortex Village, a unique residential project designed to provide better living standards for professionals who drive the country’s digital transformation.

The initiative, originally conceived by Bild Studio, grew into a national collaboration between leading IT companies and architectural partners such as NLB Bank, Studio A12 and Eurozox. What once seemed like an ambitious concept is now becoming reality — a community where 115 ICT families will soon call home.

A project born from a purpose

The idea behind Cortex Village continues the same vision that guided our earlier programs: to invest in people, education, and the environment where innovation thrives.
After educating over a thousand young people through Cortex Academy and co-developing platforms that connect the IT ecosystem, this project represents the next natural step — creating physical spaces that reflect those same values of growth, collaboration, and sustainability.

“We wanted this project to help young IT professionals solve one of the biggest challenges in life — finding a home. Cortex Village was born from our wish to make housing more accessible for those building Montenegro’s digital future, offering not just apartments, but a community where young families can live, grow, and create together.

Human-centered and sustainable by design

Developed in partnership with A12 Studio, NLB and Eurozox Cortex Village redefines modern residential living. The complex integrates over 40% green areas, energy-efficient design, solar power, and smart urban planning that promotes balance between work, family, and nature.

Parking and traffic are placed underground, leaving open, walkable, and safe green zones for families and children. The architecture prioritizes natural light, open terraces, and spacious living areas — turning everyday life into a more meaningful and connected experience.

More than housing — a movement

Cortex Village is not just about building homes. It’s about building a community — one that reflects the values of cooperation, wellbeing, and social responsibility.
Future residents, many of them from Montenegro’s IT sector, have been involved in the planning process through surveys and consultations, shaping the design according to real human needs, not just technical plans.

With this initiative, Bild Studio continues its long-term commitment to creating value for the local ecosystem — through education, innovation, and now, sustainable living.
